Climbing ropes are the most important personal protective equipment, certainly the main equipment in climbing and mountaineering activities. The type of ropes used for climbing are only dynamic ropes, this in order to absorb the kinetic energy that accumulates during the fall and that is dampened through the elongation of the rope itself.
