Patagonia was born as a small company that produced equipment for climbers. Alpinism remains the focus of a global company that still produces clothing for climbing, as well as for skiing, snowboarding, surfing, fly fishing, mountain biking and trail running. These are all “silent sports”. You don't need some kind of motor to do these sports and they rarely cause the applause of a crowd. In each of these sports, the reward comes as grace conquered with the maximum effort and moments of connection with nature.
