The heel area is made with a softer EVA layer, which guarantees better cushioning and protection from impacts. On the contrary, the front zone is more rigid and integrates a climbing zone at the tip, which provides precision and supports the wearer's weight on small protrusions and cracks, without flexing. The sole, made of Vibram Megagrip rubber compound, is made with raised heel and dowels to ensure better braking downhill and grip uphill. Waterproofness and breathability are guaranteed by the GORE-TEX 3L lining.
