TX Guide is the leather version of the TX Guide, the most technical shoe in La Sportiva's TX Series approach shoe. A perfect combination of split leather, suede for greater adaptability, and nubuck for abrasion resistance, it is designed for technical approach routes and climbing. TX Guide Leather is designed for mountain guides, climbers, and demanding users seeking a high-performance, durable product with a climbing-oriented look and feel. Versatile, lightweight, and protective, it is perfect for walk-run and climb approach routes with technical solutions and aesthetic features derived from climbing shoes: asymmetrical and advanced lacing, anti-chafing toe loops, and an overlapping tongue for maximum foot snugness. The Adaptable Fit last for maximum performance also allows for excellent adaptability to all foot types thanks to the elasticity of the leather. It is very stable at the toe and allows for maintaining the edge while climbing. The climbing-inspired protective rand is made of lightweight PU-Tech Lite™ material. The sole/midsole package is made with a double EVA with shock-absorbing compression on the heel and a stabilizer on the forefoot: the front of the midsole is co-molded with a TPU layer that also acts as a stabilizer in the climbing area, medial shank and rock-guard layer on the forefoot. The dual-compound Vibram® MegaGrip and Idrogrip outsole is the perfect combination of grip and durability, while the pronounced heel facilitates braking on downhills and offers greater grip on uphills.
