TX Guide is the most technical shoe in the La Sportiva TX Series line. Dedicated to technical approach routes and climbing, it is designed for mountain guides and mountain operators looking for a high-performance and durable product. Versatile, lightweight and protective, it is perfect for walk-run and climbing approaches, as suggested by its aesthetics derived from a perfect combination of running/approach and the technical solutions designed for climbing (sole, edges and lacing). It adopts a new Tech Fit shape: dry and snug for maximum performance. It is very stable at the toe and allows you to maintain the edge when climbing. The highly abrasion-resistant mesh upper is made of a single layer to optimize internal volumes, with internal protective microfiber reinforcements and external TPU reinforcements to ensure abrasion resistance. The asymmetrical approach-style lacing extends to the toe for maximum precision, while the rear section recalls the Mythos Style aesthetic and allows for perfect closure at the heel. The climbing-inspired protective rand is made of lightweight PU-TECH Lite material. The tongue construction is derived from solutions applied to running shoes: the gusset prevents the entry of external elements while walking. The sole/midsole package is made with a double compressed EVA that cushions the heel and stabilizes the forefoot: the front part of the midsole is co-molded with a TPU layer that simultaneously acts as a climbing zone stabilizer, medial shank and rock-guard layer on the forefoot. The dual-compound Vibram MegaGrip and Idrogrip sole is the perfect combination of grip and durability, while the pronounced heel facilitates braking on descents and provides greater grip on ascents.
