The Plus 2.0 is a multipurpose tool that can be used with whole ropes, half ropes and twin ropes. It has a "V" groove for better friction control and also, thanks to a second carabiner hole (perfect for the purpose are the HMS Nitro Lock and the HMS Compact Lock), it allows the second or second ropes to be unlocked and lowered without difficulty after the ropes have come under tension.
