Aequilibrium ST GTX is the lightweight technical hiking boot ideal for via ferratas, trekking, and glacier crossings on mixed terrain. Maximum comfort is guaranteed thanks to the integrated gusset tongue and the soft snow gaiter on the collar. Exceptional walkability is guaranteed by the innovative Double Heel™ heel construction: the very pronounced double heel geometry increases the braking effect on downhill runs and allows for a smoother roll, reducing muscle fatigue. Durability and lightness coexist harmoniously thanks to the new sole/midsole package with an external Rubber Guard™ shell construction and internal foam material for enhanced cushioning and lightness derived from fewer rubber layers. The shape is ergonomic: snug and precise with integrated TPU shells at the toe and heel to reinforce the upper. The 3D Flex System Evo™ directional joint with shaped malleolus and abrasion-resistant protection allows for better control of the support and perfect ankle mobility. The protective gaiter on the toe lacing protects against chafing. The midsole is semi-crampon compatible, the sole uses a Vibram® SpringLug Tech tread with Impact Brake System lugs for greater adaptability to hard rock surfaces. Mountaineering in perfect harmony.
