La Sportiva - Spire GTX

Spire is the next-generation fast hiking shoe for fast hiking. It adopts solutions that are part of La Sportiva's mountain DNA, combining them with technologies and concepts derived from mountain running for a versatile, waterproof and super breathable product thanks to the new GORE-TEX SURROUND® technology: an exclusive technology that allows for total breathability thanks to the increased ventilation surface that includes the upper, insole and the EVA and TPU midsole with lateral perforations. The ventilation channels visible along the profile of the midsole are protected by a highly resistant mono-filament nylon mesh to prevent the entry of pebbles and impurities. The low-cut upper is made with a Nano-Cells 2.0™ structure composed of super breathable cells that work in synergy with the GORE-TEX SURROUND® membrane for unprecedented increased breathability. The lower part of the shoe features the Stability Control System™, an anti-torsional stabilization system that integrates the ventilation holes of GORE-TEX SURROUND® technology. The tread is made of Vibram XS Trek compound for excellent grip on hard, soft, and muddy terrain. 360° breathability and comfort.
