Theory is the indoor performance shoe designed to perfectly adapt to the new shapes and volumes of indoor climbing. Its extreme sensitivity combined with high dynamism allows for unprecedented spreadability on holds, making it particularly suitable for use in the gym. Theory was born from studies by La Sportiva's R&D department on the gripping abilities of gorillas and the sensitivity of feline fingertips, combining the evolutionary analysis of new indoor gym routes that protect from very large volumes and extremely dynamic movements. It is designed to unleash maximum strength and agility while maintaining maximum sensitivity on every type of hold. New construction with exclusive D-Tech™ (Dynamic Technology): the sole wraps around the shoe laterally for a total absence of lateral edges, favoring dynamic supports and spreadability on the shapes of the most advanced indoor holds. The Vibram® XS-Grip2 compound sole with differentiated thicknesses at the toe promotes grip on supports, while the reduced volume heel allows for maximum precision in heel hooks. The rubber toe cap covers 90% of the front surface of the upper to promote toe hooks while maintaining adaptability to different foot types. The overall structure of the shoe facilitates volume compression on modern indoor routes and grip on more technical crossings and passages thanks to its high adaptability. Finally, the upper closure strap allows for excellent tension adjustment. Theory: evolution of climbing species!
