The GORE-TEX membrane lining wicks away sweat but keeps water out, making it ideal for winter running. The stabilizing heel cup provides perfect control on traverses. The lacing system is integrated into the upper with loops sewn onto the internal stretch fabric and high-frequency reinforcements on the external mesh: this system distributes the tension of the lacing across the entire upper and optimally wraps the foot for a perfect fit. The Ultra Raptor II GTX is also available in a wide-fit comfort version dedicated to hikers with wide feet.
